What these fools who tout unlimited immigration refuse to acknowledge is that population density is the greatest threat to the US environment since its creation as a nation. Nothing destroys the environment and native wildlife more then population density and the huge population jump in the US over the past 50 years - a doubling of the population is the road to ecological destruction. It has been projected based on the 2000 census that the US will have a population of at least 500 million by 2040. More paved woodlands, drained wetlands and millions more cars and belching power plants to provide electricity to the new teeming masses. More mindless malls, highways and suburban ghettos. It ain't about 'diversity' its all about mindless overpopulation.
