I spent a few hours this morning on Google looking into ONI relations
with the 'Octopus'.
Two former agents, whose loyalty seems to be idealistic, loyal to
their constitution and their republic, seem to be (ONI) Lt. Cmdr's Al
Martin and Robert Hunt.
If anyone has more up to date info (post 199

In the meantime, I'm inclined to agree with Lt Vreeland that having
ONI take over CIA/FBI functions in the USA would be a step in the
right direction.

Al Martin is the man who knows too much.
About government fraud at the highest levels.
About Iran Contra.
And about the unindicted conspirators who continue to do their dirty
work.
In the past, Lt. Cmdr. Al Martin (US Navy, Ret) has testified before
Congress for the Kerry Committee and the Alexander Committee, which
investigated the illicit deals of so-called Iran-Contra.
Al Martin's new book, "The Conspirators: Secrets of an Iran Contra
Insider," is a true crime story and an unprecedented expose of high-
level government crimes, coverups and scandals.
"In my service career as an active oficer, I was never involved in
anything covert," Al continues. "That came later. Also there has
never been a whole lot of interagency cooperation. There has never
been a truly joint operation between the CIA and ONI. I know people
like to say that, but the only people the CIA wouldn't step on to
accomplish their aims was ONI. They would easily subvert an FBI or
DEA investigation, but never ONI, because they were frightened of

In his book, Al writes that contrary to popular belief, ONI is the
most powerful US intelligence agency.
"The ONI already had a deep existing covert illegal structure. They
had a mechanism before the CIA even existed. They had contacts in
foreign intelligence services and in foreign governments that the CIA
never could have hoped to obtain."
"Also ONI controlled its own assets, which the CIA had to build from
scratch later on. The CIA can't control any of its own assets
domestically because it's against the law for it to do so, thus the
ONI is obviously in a superior position. For instance, you don't see
an airfield that says 'Owned by the CIA' on it in the United States.
The ONI doesnt have any such restrictions because it's part of the US
Navy."
"ONI is where the real deep control is. It's where the real deep
secrets are kept. That was what ONI always did the best. Keeping
secrets. Accumulating secrets. Warehousing secrets for the purposes
of control."
When I asked him 'what secrets?' he replied, "One thing I can tell
you is the ONI was instrumental in dethroning former Mexican
President Louis Portillo. Portillo got very friendly with George Bush
and the CIA, and ONI had never alligned with the Bush faction. I know
what people think, but that's not true. From what I can tell, it has
never been alligned, but has always been hostile to that Eastern
Country Club Bush Cabal and their friends in the CIA. The Bill Casey
faction is the George Bush-Allen Dulles Faction."
The principals of the ONI faction are "people that you wouldnt know.

Their power comes from the fact that they're not known. Their names
wouldn't really mean anything, therefore, they can act in such a
behind-the-scenes fashion -- much more than the CIA. It's because of
their established structure. They're very deep in old contacts.
They've simply been around longer than the CIA. They are able to
blend overt and covert operations in the same breath because they are
essentially not a covert agency like the CIA. It allows them great
cover to operate in the open."

Gene Wheaton calls [Ted] Shackley's Third Option the "operational
manual" for the covert intelligence "lunatic fringe." This same
lunatic intelligence crowd, states Wheaton, "as far back as the early
1980s, wanted to create a domestic terrorist threat in America so the
people would become so frightened that they would give up some civil
liberties and Constitutional rights, and give the CIA and Pentagon
covert operators major domestic counter-terrorism powers."
As Wheaton writes:
The Third Option is not to have peace in the world, and not to have a
full-scale world war. Instead, they wanted to cause worldwide
instability, chaos and civil unrest in order to manipulate and
control people and governments, including the United States; thus the
creation of the domestic terrorist threat.[1228]
Notice that Wheaton calls this the creation of the domestic terrorist
threat. Wheaton states what has been known for centuries by the so-
called "enlightened ones" ? the Illuminati, the Masons, the Rhodes
Round Table, and their successors: the CFR, the Bilderbergers, and
the Trilateral Commission ? that out of chaos will come order (Ordo
Ab Chao. )[1229]
Otherwise known as the "Hegelian Principle," this is the technique by
which a normally repugnant idea (in this case a totalitarian police-
state) is offered as the only viable solution to a intractable
problem (in this case domestic terrorism), deliberately engineered by
the state itself. As New American editor William Jasper notes:
?history is replete with examples of ruthless and corrupt politicians
who have shamelessly exploited and manipulated tragic events and the
criminal acts of a few to advance their own lust for power. In cases
too numerous to mention, tyrants and aspiring despots have gone even
further, engaging agents provocateurs to carry out assassinations,
foment riots and rebellion, precipitate financial panics, attempt
palace coups, feign foreign invasion, initiate acts of terrorism, and
perform other infamous acts ? all for the purpose of establishing a
mass psychology of fear, a sense of "crisis," of imminent danger
requiring the government to suspend normal liberties and seize vast
new powers to deal with the "emergency."

Navy SEAL Team commander Robert Hunt, who used to teach assassination
teams for the CIA, described the activities of ANV, which served as
an umbrella for Peregrine. As Rodney Stich writes in Defrauding
America:
Shareholders in the company were present and former CIA personnel,
reportedly involved in some aspect of CIA-related drug trafficking.
They included, for instance, Theodore Shackley, who was heavily
involved in the CIA Far East drug trafficking and then in the drug
trafficking from Central and South America?. Hunt stated there were
numerous ties between the groups and the Richard Secord-Theodore
Shackley-and Thomas Clines Associates, all of whom were reportedly
associated with the opium trade and assassination program in Laos.
ANV is the "action arm" of Continental Shelf Associates (formerly
Perry Submarines/Perry Off-Shore) of Jupiter, Florida. A former CIA
proprietary, it was operated by Robert "Stretch" Stevens, who had
served as Shackley's Maritime Operations Chief from the Bay of Pigs
to South East Asia (Shackley sits on the board of CSA). In this
regard, the activities of organizations like ANV and Peregrine are no
different than those of groups like the CIA's old ZR/RIFLE, set up to
assassinate Fidel Castro and Che Guevera.
ANV (also known as the "Fish Farm") specializes in training foreign
nationals for commando-type mercenary operations and assassinations ?
rented to various groups and governments around the world. On the
board of ANV is Bill Hamilton, former Director of Navy special
operations who attempted to establish the "Phoenix Battalion," a
privately-funded, covert group that would launch "preemptive strikes"
against organizations it defined as "terrorist."

Robert Hunt is a sleeper that was put on hold. At some, not too
distant date, you will see Bob Hunt performing his true and final
role.
(RMNews Editor: Bob Hunt is a Navy SEAL and covert operative who was
instrumental in leaking classified documents to Rodney Stich [FAA
whistleblower]. These documents confirmed that the government
operatives who came forward and broke their cover to tell the truth,
were indeed who they said they were. Whenever a government covert
operative breaks his cover and begins to tell the truth, he/she is
either jailed or killed. Robert Hunt is currently in prison. Others,
who are listed on the documents he released are either dead, in
prison or in hiding. Robert Hunt is quoted on p. 10 of the November
issue of RMNews. He is discussing a group of programmed assassins
that he personally trained at Camp Perry. When you combine the
information he released plus other information on the Pegasus
Assassination Unit, you begin to understand that the men and women
who make up these units have all been programmed at least up to Level
