Undrinkable water supply. Block after block of housing unfit for human habitation, with Chinese families resident. Inadequate public transportation and roadways. Automobile ownership authorized mostly to those with a government or military position. Small business encouraged to the point of providing public sidewalks for "merchants" to spread their junk bicycle parts and other junk for sale. Air so polluted a white shirt cannot be worn and stay white for more than 15 minutes. Yes, the Chinese Communists are kind - to 3 groups: 1. Themselves 2. Their military 3.
