That may be true in part, but in the capital city of Beijing, that kindness
manifests itself in the following:
Poor or no sanitation except in hotels used by American business travelers.
Undrinkable water supply.
Block after block of housing unfit for human habitation, with Chinese
families resident.
Inadequate public transportation and roadways.
Automobile ownership authorized mostly to those with a government or
military position.
Small business encouraged to the point of providing public sidewalks for
"merchants" to spread their junk bicycle parts and other junk for sale.
Air so polluted a white shirt cannot be worn and stay white for more than 15
minutes.
Yes, the Chinese Communists are kind - to 3 groups:
1. Themselves
2. Their military
3. Their intelligence community.
