The US absolutely has the right to pull support from Israel if it wants to.
(I don’t think it wants to – the benefits outweigh any harm a little spying can do)
I don’t think the war on Iraq is being thrust on us by Israel, Bush has a hard-on for this that comes from being in bed with the Saudi’s the Bahrainis the Kuwaiti's and his other oil buddies/masters. Besides Saddam made his daddy look bad and cry.

People and states pursue their own interests. Some of those interest are inimical to others. The others want to know. This is true about Israeli’s looking for anti-Semitic or anti-Israeli groups in the US and elsewhere. It is true of American spies in countries we are allies with. This is the information age.
