Thousands, Hundreds of Thousands, or Millions of Demonstrators?

In London today there was a demonstration for Peace. According to "MIB"
Mathaba Intelligence Bureau, there were around 400,000 demonstrators
possibly more. The technique we used to determine this, was counting
demonstrators passing down Whitehall, by counting about every 500 people
using a technique of handing out Mathaba visitors cards.
1,000 cards and stickers were handed out, making the total marchers number
around half a million. The state police, on the other hand, "estimated that
at least 150,000" demonstrated.
The main British BBC Television evening news bulletin, however, opened and
closed with the words "Thousands of demonstrators protested in London".
Thousands? If it is at least hundred of thousands, or even a million, why
say "thousands"?
The BBC Television news also showed some camera shots of demonstrators, but
always shot from street level, and never showing more than a thousand
demonstrators! However, anyone with a map of the demonstration route, and a
stop watch, can determine that the protest was HUGE. And that is not
counting the many who did not march the whole route from Embankment to Hyde
Park, but simply went to Hyde Park for the rally.
Why were all the helicopters in the sky, armed with cameras, filming the
event? Not one of the camera shots from the air was shown on TV. These shots
would have shown everyone the enourmous size of the demonstration.
So, what effect will these "incredible" inaccuracies of the official media
have on demonstrators? About 1% of the British population took part in the
march today. These half million or more people will become radicalised
against the official corporate media. Every one of them could see around a
million people demonstrated, not "thousands."
What the capitalist war establishment is concerned about is the 99% of the
population which did not march today. They want them to think that this was
not a significant event. However, any thinking member of the general
population will quickly realise that the conservative state police said
"hundreds of thousands" while the BBC said "thousands" and they will also
notice the glaring absence of ariel photographs from the air.
Why, in this day of technology, when it is possible to count demonstrators,
and in deed there was an electronic counter in place for the demonstration
of last weekend supported by Prince Charles, why there was no photographic
methodology nor electronic methodology employed to count the protesters. In
fact, there was. But this time it has not been made public. So the BBC can
TRY to fool the masses, but the masses have already bolted.
Today's demonstration was not one of Socialists, radicals or extremists, it
was a wide-ranging demonstration uniting people of different faiths,
backgrounds, views and status, all united in making a point that they no
longer trust the political, nor the media establishment to make their views
heard.
British parliamentary "democracy" was exposed in the last election as a
sham. Less than half the voting population participated in the vote, and
those who did vote, voted more for other parties. Yet, because the Blair
party won the largest minority, even though more voted against it, it comes
to power. This is the modern dictatorship.
The British media which fuels the mad war-mongering politicians, has also
long ago exposed itself as anything but the people's voice, and anything but
truthful. Todays headlines in the BBC only go to underline the fact. This is
why independent media such as Mathaba play an increasingly important role in
informing about the truth.
