-Caveat Lector-

How the hell can anyone say that English is at risk of extinction. It is the
most widely spoken second language in the world and 3rd most spoken language
in the world ( maybe second when you consider Chinese isn't really one
language)

The old joke:

what do you call someone who speaks 2 languages: bilingual
what do you call someone who speaks many languages: multilingual
what do you call someone who speaks 1 language: American


The more languages you speak the more different approaches to reality you
have.

The problem is not Spanish kids learning English, It's Americans who will
not learn anything else.
