Back in the 90's, when this style of WM was common, ctwm was a rather small slice of the pie. Nowadays, that pie is a much tinier piece of the overall banquet of WM's, so... I don't see any danger of a "glorious era", but we can certainly keep on doing what we do well, and even do it better.
