^^^^^^^^^^
You want to make that Imakefile.local, not overwrite the main
Imakefile.
Peripherally, we're also expecting a new release soon, so I'd invite
you to try the latest snapshot (at
https://www.ctwm.org/tmp/ctwm-4.0.0-pre.20161230.tar.xz) instead, if
you'd like. You'll need cmake instead of imake to build it (and since
c comes before i, it's obviously better!).
