I was hoping to have it be a configure option. I got something working (see
patch I posted a few minutes ago), but the logic that adds -Werror by
cat'ing a file is pretty ugly.
It's rather ugly and very very specific for your idea. I don't see what's
wrong with Marco Maggi's suggestion, or by simply watching for the warnings in
the output! I don't think it's worth adding code to support such an extreme
edge-case.
