 <h2><a name="faqs"></a>Working in the FAQs</h2>
 <p><a href="http://user-faq.openoffice.org/new-faq/";>The FAQ Collaboration</a>
is an experimental project, where the ultimate mission is to provide a
consolidated set of FAQs that is accessible to all who wish to add to it. Edits
to the FAQ source files have been moved off-site to a system that is believed
to be easier to use than SSH and CVS, so that more folks can have easy access
to it. A <a href="new-faq/howto_run_faq_spider.txt">script</a> easily gathers
the updates and provides a format <a
href="http://user-faq.openoffice.org/new-faq/";>here</a> for OpenOffice.org user
access. Let us know what you think! There are several ways to help:</p>

<p>If you do answer questions on the users list, it would be kind of you to
look in the message headers of the messages you answer for messages sent to the
list by a moderator, to cc the unsubscribed users in your responses.</p>

 <h2><a name="moderating"></a>Moderating the Mail Lists</h2>
<p>OpenOffice.org tries to keep the mail lists open to all, whether or not
subscribed. In order to buffer all junk mail that comes to openoffice.org list
addresses, all unsubscribed emails pass through human moderators. These folks
filter the junk mail and send through the legitimate user questions. Hundreds
of junk messages are handled per day, so a high speed connection is required
for this work. If you can help in this way, please send an email directly to
OpenOffice.org's <a href="mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]">Community Manager</a>.</p>
