How do you want me to install cx_Freeze? from the wheel (or) from windows
compiler.
I am just about to give up, I will give it another try after I hear back from
you.

Installing from the wheel is easier. Download it from Gohlke's site
(http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#cx_freeze ), then use the command
prompt to 'pip install <file you downloaded>'
