It is doing what you asked it to do. You've got namespaces like

       <xs:schema xmlns:ax22="http://util.java/xsd";

in your file. You are claiming control of that package. Either change the
namespace or remap it to a package of your own.

There's nothing wrong with returning hashmaps.
