Dale Larson, the developer of Cyberboard has said it would remain freeware.? Most people build gameboxes so they can play the games, not for profit.? I doubt there is much market for sale of a gamebox, I know I wouldn't pay for one, why should I?? If I want the gamebox for a game and the only option is to buy one, I'd make my own.

I was chatting with someone recently about Cyberboard and his concern that a gamebox I was creating not be "sold". I assured him that would not be the case and that, in fact, Cyberboard itself was made available as freeware with the proviso that gameboxes could not be sold. I thought I saw that statement somewhere years ago when I got started with CB. But as I went looking for that "footnote" I couldn't find it on the CB site. Can anyone confirm my recollection? point out the proviso if it is still posted somewhere? or comment on the possibility that there has been or will be a change in that? tnx D. ________________________________________________________________________ Email and AIM finally together.
