It is, I've played a few games using desktop sharing programs and CB.
It worked fine, but the games I've played did not use any hidden information.

That would seem to be the case, I don't see a way around it with this
method. I think the near-real time of exchanging the move files would
not be so cumbersome as it may seem, but you may not care for it.
