The United States' National WWII Museum, in New Orleans, is proud to announce
Heat of Battle III - the Museum's annual wargaming convention, set amongst the
backdrop of the public galleries of the Museum itself.

Please use the following link to register to attend Heat of Battle III, August
21-23, 2009 : http://support.nationalww2museum.org/wargaming
Our new Special Exhibit "June 1944" (along with the rest) will be included in
your admission. We project great prize support and three great guest speakers
are included as well.

We're also very excited to be able to offer something new and exciting this
year, to all Heat of Battle III convention attendees!! Your convention pass
will entitle you to take the Behind the Lines museum tour of the vault and
large artifact storage areas before, during, or after the convention. Group
booking (max 6) is encouraged. Please see
http://www.nationalww2museum.org/plan-a-visit/go-behind-the-lines-at-the.html
for the details of this fantastic opportunity, which includes a chance to
explore inside the Museum's Sherman tank, handle (with gloves) some of the
Museum's vintage items, and see such oversize artifacts as the Museum's
artillery collection, a German staff car, and other military vehicles.

Our preliminary schedule of events can be found here:
http://www.nationalww2museum.org/calendar/hob3-prelim-schedule.pdf

Consider running a game! One GM per game run at Heat III will be allowed free
admission. You must submit the game (please do so soon) before you complete
the attendee registration form.

Those who have already submitted a game must still complete an attendee
registration form, also. Just check the Game Master button on the form.
Please do so ASAP.

Finally, we ask you to spread the word about Heat of Battle to any/all WWII
gamers/shops, etc. Help us help more people learn about history through gaming!

Questions/comments, please email or call me.

Also hope to see you at Bayou Wars,
www.bayouwars.org<http://www.bayouwars.org>, the last weekend in June.

All the best.
