Lee:
Things have been on hold due to other commitments. All going ahead at full
steam again and hopefully I will know exactly where we are going with our
start-up within the next two months.
So you think you have a pretty good Counterstrike team? When you have
proven amongst yourselves, who is best, then we will kick the winners butts
big time.
To the list in general:
I have been reliably informed that BT are actually installing ADSL at
present and a colleague of mine in Milton Keynes will be up and running with
it in 2 weeks. To get them to do this you have to hassle them apparently.
Word has it that they do not want the general public to know that this is
going on, and the reason for this, is that they are rationing the service
because they do not have the resources to meet the demand.
To contact BT, go to the BT openworld site and use their telephone number.
150 installation if you are not already registered and 40 month
subscription for 512 downstream and 256 upstream.
If anybody else has any joy sorting something out with BT, feedback would be
welcome.
If you do run with BT, remember that you will not be able to host a games
server (NAT) at this stage, but you can still join the low ping b......ds
who murder all us modem users.
