Go for ADSL! It's much cheaper than a leased line solution! the line also
has the potential to be alot faster than a low cost(ish) leased line.

We've just set up a cafe here in Bath and ADSL is great. We'd recomend it!

Shahid,

I work for BT and we have a nice example of a low cost complete cafe
solution in Stoke, Festival Park. This was everthing - network ISP usage PC
software firewall content filter.

We can quote for all the elements you need.
Is this in proof of concept phase? Do you want it cheap or scalable, do you
need games?

The client is able to onward sell the concept and they would be in a
position to supply a carbon copy to your self..

Please let me know what you are doing and timescales and I might be able to
help.

My assumption is that you would like us to take the technical headache away
and allow you to develop the 1st line support, cus service, and creative
business development as part of your core business.

Let me know if you would like to know more

     Hi all,

Im looking to set up a cybercafe from scratch in West London, UK and
was wondering if any of you guys could give me some idea as the how much a
setup would cost and a rough idea as to kind of returns I can expect to
make. Im looking to start off with about 10 machines and probably get a
leased line from a good ISP and also have photocopying/fax and possibly
training facilities in house too. Is this the best way to approach this? How
much initial cost am i looking at? What kind of leased line would be best?
Is there still a profitable market in setting up an Internet cafe due to the
influx of free ISP's(am i wasting my time altogether???). All ideas/comments
would be most appreciated. Naturally id like feedback from people based in
the UK, but everyone elses comments would be valuable too

     Thanks

     S.Halling
