Craig Limbach, of the 1300 block of 17th Street Southwest, was arrested at a house in the 1700 block of Lincoln Way East. Limbach admitted to police that he was planning to have sex with two girls, ages 1 and 2, at the home, according to Massillon police Detective Bobby Grizzard. Grizzard said Limbach was carrying a digital camera and three computer disks that contained 75 pictures of child pornography. ``We believe he was going to use the camera to photograph the babies,'' Grizzard said. ``And he did indicate that he was coming there to have sex with the babies.'' Limbach has been charged with five counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and two counts of attempted unlawful sex with a minor. All of the charges are fourth-degree felonies. And more charges could be pending. When police searched Limbach's home after his arrest, they found 328 more computer disks, all expected to contain child pornography pictures, Grizzard said. Each disk can hold 34 images, he said. Police began reviewing the disks yesterday. ``There were just so many images. We suspect that when we look at all those disks, we'll have thousands of images,'' Grizzard said. ``Maybe 11,000.'' Which brings police to other troubling questions. Who are the children pictured on the disks and how many victims could be connected to Limbach? ``We don't know yet,'' Grizzard said. The police will use the disks to try to get a Stark County grand jury to bring more charges against Limbach next week. The investigation began March 27, when a 59-year-old grandmother took her computer to a store for repairs. A technician at Quality Computers in downtown Massillon discovered 33 child pornography images on the computer's hard drive. The store employee called the police. When the woman, whose name has not been released by police, picked up her computer, police stopped her. The woman told the officers she was the only person with access to her computer and that she had grandchildren living with her. The woman has not been arrested, but police will present evidence against her next week to that same grand jury considering charges against Limbach. Police later determined that Limbach sent the woman the photos found on her computer. And with that, police began investigating Limbach, setting up yesterday's meeting in which he thought he was going to meet the two toddlers. Grizzard said Limbach also sent 30 to 40 child pornography images to a Massillon police officer, who was undercover for the investigation. Limbach is married with two grown children. He works at a factory in Navarre. Reginald Fields can be reached at 330-996-3743 or [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- Sponsor's Message -------------------------------------- Get Only the Best Lists!
