I agree with Paul on this.  Such a protest would 
definitely get media time (provided that they were told 
in advance that is).  Winning medals (or not quite winning
medals) will just not have the same impact.  If we are
to re-open the debate then it has to be "in yer face" and 
this is a good way to get noticed.  We have tried being 
polite and reasoned and dignified - it doesn't work.  We 
need an emotional hook to get noticed.

But as I keep pointing out, we have no control or any
way to convince them to do that, so unless someone has
some influence I am unaware of, it's a pointless
discussion.
