He did mention Packhouse and said it would stay that way since it is a 
secondary road. The main roads are taken care of first and the secondary roads 
are done if there is time and money-ha.

Hey everyone-I talked to Bill Bass with the NCDOT and he said that the gravel 
is on NC 58 to fill in cracks until the "hot mix" can be poured on the road. 
This prolongs the life of the road a few years.  They will sweep the road which 
he says will make things better, but it will have a gravel top until September 
or October.
