Jim, Doc, Chris, Ronnie, Tyler, Alan, Brian and I Cruised for 30 miles in brutal heat yesterday. Not only that but it seemed like every turn offered more headwinds. Jim was sweating bullets as well as I. Once we were finally offered a tailwind on Old Smithfield Rd., Chris and Ronnie put the needle on 30 and cruised. Sweeeeet! Chris gets the sprint points with a great finish! My first ride with rookie Tyler, who rode very well and got some TV time with a breakaway. Sorry I was too hot/tired/winded to carry on a conversation yesterday. Will this heat wave ever cease? tim
