This is not the official ride report because I don't even know all the names that were there. So many new faces I can't keep up with everybody. Another big group. Jim, Nick, Ronnie, Dale, Steve T., Tim S., Allen, I think Wally, and the guy riding with Jim whose name escapes me. My bad! and Ralph, oh wait a minute he's going the wrong way! Hey! Jim starts us off with a nice friendly group ride pace. Then Nick having missed yesterdays ride makes up for lost time. We yo-yo for the next few miles trying to adjust our speed, while Jim's bike is still under the weather. Finally on the road to Sharpsburg the group (not staying together very well) decides to drop the hammer and group "B" will sweep up any riders tired of playing that game. Now the pace is like 22-24. Testosterone flows freely! I give up the lead to Steve T. and he nearly drops me off the back. We cruise over to Town Creek and back through Elm City. Ronnie has us cruising through Elm City barely under the speed limit. No one has enough left to challenge Tim S. for the polka dot jersey on Airport Rd. and we are really strung out cruising back to OSB. Not the friendliest paced ride but it was waaaay cool. I know Ronnie was happy!
