Sunday rides are getting very slim. DC, Doc and I cruised into a cold stiff
20+mph wind leaving Wilson at 2:00. Doc & I where happy with a 27 mile route
while DC added an extra 3 mile loop then we played cat and mouse seeing if DC
could make up the 3 miles and catch us before home. Doc and I were not wasting
that tailwind cruising 26 to 28 mph back Hwy 97 to make sure that didn't
happen. Doc and I waited around at the finish for about 7 minutes then we
decided that DC must have gone added some more miles. Another cold ride but
with plenty of wool, you can stay toasty. There was this kid that rode by on
his bike before we left OSB riding in his short sleeve polo shirt. Made us
look silly in our ski suits. Also, we got passed by an SUV hauling their
freshly cut Christmas tree that yelled at me to get off the dam road.
Spreading some real holiday cheer. I dunno. It was kinda funny. :)
