Bob L, DC and I left OSB 2:00, picked up Ronnie at Texaco.
Did new years day ride.
Not particularly Belgum weather except for the wind, cold NW blast.
Slow going out, everyone sharing the load.
As we turned on Hwy 97 DC asks if we are taking Thompson Chapel,
red flag, smooth pavement, tailwind, as I gave the pull to DC.
Bob says he was afraid of that, DC took off and at 23 + they were pulling
away, left this
rider in the dust or should I say salt. Re- group at Hwy 58 and one by one
Ronnie then
Bob peal off for home leaving me to throw a rope arounf DC and hang on,
pulled me to OSB, DC took the light I cut through the parking lot, never got
his wheel again.
No precip but a Belgum-like performance.
Great day in the neighborhood.
