Bert:

We took Stagecoach past Sharpe Store on to Elm City Rd/Parker St. The
route via Sharpe Store (Sharpe Store, Joyner, Felt, W. Langley to London
Church) is not as good a road, unless they have repaved recently. It
does keep you out in the country and avoids Lake Wilson between Elm City
and London Church which can be busy in the mornings.

You gotta ride outside my friend.

Jeff:

That is a really good route for an AM ride. Mostly

new surface roads. Just have to be the dog whisperer

to get by fido. You turn around and go back to sharpe store rd

to get to main st elm city?

Maybe I can break my 'spin' addiction soon.

thanks

Linda, Wally and Lanterne Rouge rolled out of OSB at 6:00 am sharp. The
group took Nash out to Pridgen, London Church on to Stagecoach and over
to Elm City Rd/Parker St into Elm City. Parker Street is still covered
with the tar/sand resurfacing at the split to 301. The group turned
around and returned down Main Street, Lake Wilson and Nash, 21 miles at
an 18 pace. Linda continues to pick up the pace, pushing us along at
19+ at numerous points along the route. Wally graciously pulled us
along for a great portion of the ride and pealed off for some extra
miles at the end of the ride.

Be advised of a large dog on Stagecoach just after the race track.
Wally utilized his dog fighting skills and the owner helped to keep the
big dog out of the road.

It was a great way to start the day. Plans are to ride again in the
morning, 6:00 am OSB, similar distance and pace or what the group
decides, route is negotiable. Tomorrow should be the nicest day of the
week weather wise.
