Fearing girl, talk would interfere with pace, set out from Texaco at 19/20, seemed to work as all was quiet on the western front. LW experienced Stoney Hill Ch Rd pulling into a 7 mph head wind, which would become our friend later. On Pace Rd, LW clipped my rear wheel, swerved right into the ditch, perfect lay out dive from the bike, followed by a shoulder roll in the field and stuck the landing for a 9.5 from the judges.
