My plant in Kinston is having a picnic this Saturday and I am considering riding to or from (or both) the event. I know how to get to Kinston using Highway 58 through Stantonsburg ans Snow Hill and it is reasonably good road to ride based on wide shoulders although the traffic level is pretty high during the week. Can anyone recommend another, more bike friendly route?
