Was a great time to ride. Thanks to DC for hanging back with me. Tim was sitting on the tail gate of my truck thinking about recovery drinks waiting to see if I made it back in. Thanks to Tim L. Tim and Ronnie were just in view where I saw them taking a left on 97 to head back that way. Steve decided to do the same...me looking for more miles stayed on old bailey, graham brantley, old smithfield, friday rd, simms, old raleigh, airport, 58. Heading back in on airport the head wind was so strong I was only turning 18-19 down hill past WCA and could not get it over 11 up Target hill.....my legs were toast. Finishd with 46. I'm guessing the others finished with between 30-35. I was planning a lunch box ride today, but my legs need a rest. I'm also out tomorrow but looking for a long ride Sunday.
