Ok.  Tim, I hope you saved some for Monday too.  Anyone up for a weekday ride
tomorrow?  My prescription for Monday is 2.5 hrs at an L2.  That's a step above
"nauseatingly slow."  I can leave at any time so long as I'm done by 2:00p.m.
And if at all possible, could we leave from my field?  (I have a little run
after my bike and am supposed to be doing so with only a sub 5 min. transition
time.)  Tri training is so much fun!  Oh, and it's supposed to be really cold
tonight.  So it probably would not add to the fun if we left early in the
morning.

Let me know if you can join and I'll send directions.  kp

Subject: [COWs] Double Century Ride Report!

I joined a dozen other fools Saturday morning in Salisbury for a 300K (190
mile) cruise through a gazillion hills skirting the uhawries then through the
sand hills of North Carolina.  Too many hills for the fat guy and not enough
sleep made for one long day.  I rode most of the day in between the fast and
slower group.  I was toast 50 miles into the ride.  As the sun set I checked up
and hooked up with the slower group only to realize I was barely keeping their
pace.  Then we had headwinds the last 50 miles, then we made a wrong turn and
added 13 bonus miles.  Oh, somebody just shoot me!  Cruised in just before
midnight.  202 miles, 10,000 feet of climbs, then another 3 hour drive home.
Today I sleep!--
