Saw no one posted yet so I'll take a stab... 3 came, 3 saw, 3 conquered...
Turbo, Kaiser, and I met at DD at 6:00. Light south breeze. All said they weren't looking for a 24 mph pace. Well... As is the norm for these rides, it's full steam out of the gate. Hit Nash at 20+. With south breeze, pace gets to 24+ pushing 26. The route was: Nash, HCR, OSR, GB, OB 97, TC, Nash. Turned out of tailwind to crosswind; pace slowed - to 22. Long pulls by all, no dogs, a little confusion about the turn onto Williams Rd. Turbo went strait, K and I catch back up to him and we continue on. Into the wind on Nash but pace still held at 22. We pull a "Nick" the last 1/8 mile and ramped it up to 25 to finish. Finished with 22.8 miles with a 22 avg. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CyclistsOfWilson-COWs" group.
