Great report Dave W. It was right on target for how the race and activities went down. Good times were had by all and all did very well in the race. Like Dave said none of us were expecting it to be wetsuit legal. The weekend before I had heard it was 80 and 82 degrees from two different people on two different boats. I was not complaining and was just glad I brought it. Hey Bolt.....you want to know where my speed in the water came from? It's called a sleeveless extera wetsuit. Lol my swim time last year in this same event was just over 31 min. I knocked off 7 min and it sure was not from my swim training....cause there has not been much of that. Lol
It was great to have Chad Isbell at the race this year. He has never been out with the CoWs, but I think Dave and I talked him into giving it a shot. He was interested in the BC rides. By the way DW.....I love my key chain. I'm just thankful I did not get another dang water bottle. I think it must be the year of the water bottles. If you are interested in doing an olympic tri this is a great one. It's always the first Sunday in June so put it on your calendar for next year.
