First ride after 8 days in Colorado. Altitude in Denver not too much trouble, but at 10,500 ft where Jay lives is another story. Running, biking shape is not the same as mountain hiking, add altitude and thin air and you have a whole new dynamic. Rode single speed to ease back into the bike, did Pearson's peak route, felt really good, dropped the hammer at w horne's and nash, 20+ to airport and 22/24 to DD, never did breathe hard. Great day to be on the bike, Jim
