Now we know the trip was planned for some high altitude training.  Look out 
COWs, could be a hammering coming up.

First ride after 8 days in Colorado.  Altitude in Denver not too much trouble, 
but at 10,500 ft where Jay lives is another story.  Running, biking shape is 
not the same as mountain hiking, add altitude and thin air and you have a whole 
new dynamic.  Rode single speed to ease back into the bike, did Pearson's peak 
route, felt really good, dropped the hammer at w horne's and nash, 20+ to 
airport and
22/24 to DD, never did breathe hard.
