DC, Chad and LR rolled out of DD under mostly cloudy skies with cooler
temperatures than in the previous few days. No rain but a slight breeze as the
trio rolled out Nash St. Turing on to Packhouse, Bloomery, Horens Church, Old
Smithfield, Graham-Brantley, Old Bailey, 97, Sugar Hill, Thompson Chapel and
back in on Nash. A solid tempo ride 23 miles with a 20.8 avg. The pace went
to 20 quickly and never varied from that other than for traffic and
intersections. The work on the front was shared by all. Chad turned in strong
pulls this morning working with the rollers and the breeze. DC fussed about
his "old bike", saying it was too heavy. I think we should tie some cinder
blocks on to see if it holds him back (I am skeptical).

Great way to start the day!
