A group of three gathered at DD for a Saturday ride that began with the plan for a “nauseatingly” slow pace but in the end missed that mark. Dale, the birthday boy laid out todays route (it rates a keeper). Chicken Farmer and LR rounded out the trip and out they rolled on Nash St where it was quickly evident that the pace would be far closer to normal than slow. On to Hornes Church, Strickland Rd up to the store for brief halt and refuel. On across 581 and 97 on to Old Spring Hope Rd and a few rollers and dogs. Dale likes rollers and dogs it seems. Out Spring Hope Rd back on to %*! headed back in, a few more rollers. On to Stoney Hill Church back to Hornes Church, Bloomery, Packhouse and in on Nash. 45 miles at 19.6 avg. Not bad for a group that ranged from sleep deprived to worn out.
As LR and Chicken Farmer visited in the DD parking lot, up rolls LRs better rider and out they rolled toward home only to be overtaken by the BC back from a ride to Middlesex. All smiles today. Great day to be on a bike. LR -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CyclistsOfWilson-COWs" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
