I played around a little more with this and found some problems that I have to investigate. When I move a file into the area from another directory it gives an error. That isn't really a big deal but I don't like putting things into production with known problems unless I have a vague understanding of the problem. So it will be a couple more days before I have the time to track this down. The size of this new, purged area is: 1926596K bytes. (I fixed my purge script) cgf
