I know that it isn't obvious but I really am still here and that sorta means that you can't take tcl/tk away just yet. I have been trying to talk to the insight maintainer about what to do with tcl/tk but he hasn't been really responsive and I haven't been extremely motivated to push the issue. I actually have had a native cygwin version of tcl ready for quite some time but insight really messes things up. cgf
