Everyone volunteers ( including the Red Hat employees ) their answers to the list. Teachers get paid and it is even their job to answer questions. I would also hope that they are teaching you to "learn-to-learn." The non-answers are helping to enable you to learn cygwin by giving you more avenues-of-approach to find information.
