Given that it's never been discussed here on the main list, it likely
was never very active.

In the early years, there were three main sites: the Bay Area, of
course, Cambridge, MA, and Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia. There
was also a small group meeting irregularly in the L.A. area, circa
1993-4.

By the mid-90s, Austin was active, and remains active.

Though several list members were/are in the Seattle area, including
Matt Thomlinson and Wei Dei, IIRC, this is the first I've heard that
there was a Seattle Cypherpunks list.

Your best hope is to start holding parties/meetings/gatherings at
coffee houses (I hear they have coffee houses in Seattle).

By the way, "toad.com" has not been a main address for Cypherpunks
for several years. It is "disfavored" as a list address by its owner,
who asked us to leave, and by most on the other main lists. It was a
great site in its day, but fell prey to filtering by its owners and
by spam. So you can start your journey by getting on one of the main
lists.
