Commemorates September 11
House Democratic Leader Richard Gephardt's website will commemorate Sept. 11 with the launch of a
special homepage
on Tuesday, Sept. 10, to honor victims of the Sept. 11 attacks during this anniversary week. This special page will include both images and audio from the Special Joint Session held in New York City on Friday, Sept. 6.
The page will offer visitors links to Leader Gephardt's speech to the joint session, as well as to a special report on the legislation Congress has passed in response to the Sept. 11 attacks. In addition, visitors will find general information on Homeland Security efforts taken over the past year. The special homepage will remain on the site through Friday, Sept. 13."
