Folks, I note today that French Ambassador Jean-David Levette
announced yesterday that France has a “moral duty” to participate – that is,
cash in – on the rebuilding of postwar Iraq. No doubt, while standing in the
blood of American soldiers. Words fail me here. But I advise Mr. Levette not to
hold his breath.
But while we’re on the subject, Ken Timmerman’s insightful piece on
“What’s Wrong With France?” is still posted. – although Mr. Levette makes it
pretty clear. http://www.insightmag.com/news/382844.html Along with our usual
plethora of cutting-edge articles, listed below. Until next time, then. From the
Bunker, I’m your newsman in Washington.
