Hi Michael,
I can ask my cousin who still lives there.
Regards,

I am a new member of this group and I am hoping that there is an existing member who can help with a suggestion to resolve the following issue.

My paternal grandfather, Michael Brandmann (Michael ben Shlomo Avraham) died in March 1933 in Nepolokivtsi (then Nepolocauti, Roumania).

The contemporaneous newspaper announcements  that I have seen do not show the place of burial although there is reference to a funeral. I consider it likely that he was buried in the local Jewish cemetery which contains about 100 to 200 grave stones, typically engraved with Hebrew text
I wish to find and pay someone locally in the town or in Chernovitsi who is suitable to attempt to find the gravestone and, if successful, to take a photograph of it.
The small town is accessible by train from Chernovisti (about 30 minutes) and by car.

I look forward to receiving any constructive suggestions which might help me. Naturally I would be happy to provide any further information that I may hold.

Michael Brandman
