I say "What IDE?????"... I use a text editor (most often TextMate or BBedit), bash, a couple of simple templating programs I wrote, and my code libraries I have built up over the years. I am fond of collection of simple programs rather than a monolithic IDE.
There really is no good IDE for python at the moment. I don't consider SPE, Wing, or even the dabo tools as an IDE. Try them all out and find something that works for you.
