Paul:  I love intellisense and don't like it at the same time.  There are
many times when coding an SQL statement I can't see what I am typing!  There
is no way to pick and choose where you want Intellisense to work.  Have you
ever tried to type what someone actually said in Word that was not
grammatically correct?
