        If you specify a Parent for a form (or any object, for that matter), it 
will be released when its Parent is destroyed.

        As far as forcing the user to close one before you can access the 
other, you're describing modal behavior, not parent/child behavior. Currently 
only dDialog supports modal operation; if you want something like this for 
dForm-based windows, you'll have to hide the parent form when the child is 
shown, and re-show the parent when the child is released.
