A reflection on today's Scripture:

In today's scripture St. Paul's letter to the Galatians proclaims that
the time of the Chosen One is here. The law that guided God's people
from the time of Abraham is now not just words but a living person,
Jesus Christ. He is the fulfillment of the law. As God's people we
should sing praise and seek him continuously. It was by His example that
Jesus taught and lived out the will of the Father. It was by His holy
example that the apostles first lived and later recounted the story of
His life, the holy message.

In this high tech world that we all live in, we might think that with
all the advances in communication, everyone should be well-versed in
God's Word. But we know this isn't so. Jesus tells us that when we hear
His word we should hold fast to it. But the question is, are we really
listening to Jesus, to the Word of God? If we look around, it's easy to
see exactly what people are listening to and living by. It's not hard to
understand why the early Christians lived in simplicity, harmony and
love with each other. Reading and studying the holy scriptures helped
them to stay ever continuously in the presence of Jesus, the Christ.
