A reflection on today's Scripture:

Jesus discussed the inability we have in making certain judgments. We
may be adept at predicting outcomes of many things, including weather,
games, contests, but when we are judging what is just, we may be
woefully inadequate. We should always settle serious disagreements. Is
there a better time than now, before our fate is determined before
God, the Ultimate Court? It would be unwise for us to procrastinate,
for we should never take chances with our soul. Let us all "settle out
of court" as soon as possible, lest we face a severe judgment before
God on Judgment Day.

We should strive to live our lives with humility, meekness and
patience; we should bear with one another lovingly and respectfully.
We are, after all, a community, with the Holy Spirit as our guide. And
we have but one God over us all. God our Father can work with us,
through us, and in us. He is our Ultimate Judge, and yet a most
merciful one. May we all live in peaceful harmony and with loving
hearts. May we live in unity, and not discord, as only God taught us
through Jesus.
