Got a phone call today from a family wanting help placing a 13 1/2 yr
old great dane. They have had her for 12 yrs, got her from the pound
when she was about 18 months old. Now family is moving into apartment
and going to put her down if we cant take her by this weekend. She is on
rimadyl and needs to continue on it. She is still somewhat playful,
according to the owner, has a small dog companion. Has had no problems
with kids. She did not do well with cats when she was young, but no
clue how she would do now that she is more slow-moving. She is blue
with a a touch of white. Current on all medicals.
We are full, full, full and I dont believe I can place a 13 1/2 yr old
when I am full of 6 month - 4 yr olds.
Anyone got a place for this girl?
