Ruby,
I would take her in a heart beat. I have one older small hunting breed dog
that I took from my vet to foster-to love him until he died-that was three
years ago! I'm always teasing my vet that he put a pace maker in. I would
have a place for her, but it would be in the basement so she wouldn't have
to go up and down stairs to go in and out to potty. She would "live" with
my Little Joe. He lives downstairs so he can go in and out to potty any
time he needs to. Of course with cold weather coming I will have to close
the door.
I couldn't offer her the couch upstairs, due to my other girls. But I could
offer her the couch in the basement, time with me, and time outside on the
farm. I'm just affraid I'm too far away to help.
